Ok, so what good is free shipping if there is nothing to buy? So many things have sold out in the past few days, that I just had to create a new colorway right away. (I will do my best to get two more in the store by the end of the year.)
This one has been in the works for a while. It is the most unique YARN STASHIO colorway ever. There were over 50 unique color segments created. In fact, the Signature Scarf Yarn has no repeats, except for a few of the hanks that have the same color segment yarn at both ends. The Classic Hanks have virtually no repeats either. Tapestry includes shades of burgandy, purple, moss green, caramel, aqua blues, deep sunfower gold, deep rust, sky blue and many more. with a hint of metallic sparkle and eyelash accents. There are so many different colors that there are very few repeated color segments in the entire hank making it an exceptional colorway. It knits well with a US 13-15 needle and 3 sts to the inch.
When knit, it creates a wonderful TAPESTRY fabric, hence the name. Here is a close up using a double moss/seed stitch pattern which melds the colors beautifully, don't you think?
Below is the newest shawl design knit with TAPESTRY, embellished with a wonderful feather boa and Swarovski cut crystal brooch for the closure. It has a slight amount of shaping that makes it lay wonderfully over your shoulders. I just could not resist the feather boa. I had a tough time choosing between french blue, navy blue, cranberry or pumpkin. They were all exquisite, but I went with the pumpkin. TAPESTRY also goes really well with the Tilli Tomas Tote in Wine, Deep Red, Sunflower, Tangerine or Lilac. The pattern will be available shortly in the store. It takes two hanks of Classic or four hanks of Signature yarn. This shawl was knit with Signature yarn because I wanted the effect achieved with the consistent, short color segments that are in the Signature yarn. It may look just a little different with the Classic yarn but equally beautiful, and slightly less expensive.

I just had to do it. A few years back I did it set called Black Hills Gold. It was such a huge success for the Holidays, I just had to try it again. It is even more beautiful than the first one, I think because of the new yarns in the Stahsio. Black Hills Gold was designed to perfectly coordinate with the Bronze and the Black Tilli Tomas Tote bag, but it would also make a great holiday scarf or wrap. See all the new patterns that have been listed as well as the Pattern CD. There are a couple of patterns on the CD that have not been listed separately, but they will be shortly. The Deep Red Tilli Tomas Totes are sold out until after January 2007! But, I was able to get the last ones available at Tilli Tomas yesterday to coordinate with the Vogue Red DIY Stashio Yarn set. We created 6 new DIY Stashio sets in Vogue Red, and there are 5 Deep Red Tilli Tomas Totes and 3 Black Tilli Tomas Totes remaining. The Vogue Red DIY Stashio goes great with both of these colors.
This will be the last chance to duplicate the Vogue Knitting Tilli Tomas Tote at this great introductory price of $100 before the Christmas. Plus, the Yarn Stashio Tote pattern is included with each Tote. After knitting so many of these, we believe that we have significantly improved on the original pattern. If you notice the picture in Vogue, the knit portion is smaller at the bottom than at the top, the opposite of what one would want in a Tote. With the Yarn Stashio pattern, DIY Stashio Yarns or any Yarn Stashio gauge 10-11 yarn, your Tote will be shaped like this, and it will be much easier to knit as well! We do not like doing things the hard way at Yarn Stashio. Life is short and there is too many fun yarns to do things the hard way.
Well, back to the Stashio to create some new DIY Stashio colors!

Well, the good news is that the Vogue Red Tilli Tomas Tote was an immediate HIT! The bad news is that they are all SOLD OUT! There is one more Deep Red Purse Top left and 3 Black ones but the DIY Stashio Yarns in Vogue Red sold out in one day! I will order some more of the Deep Red Tote tops today and make up a new Vogue Red DIY Stashio Yarn set as well. Some of the yarns in the set will be different due to the unique nature of the Stashio stash, but the color theme will be the same!
I will send a quick note when the new set is in the store. If there is another color you would like to see for the Tilli Tomas Totes and DIY Stashio Yarns, please let me know right away. This set was created by customer request and I would be glad to do the same for you anytime!

Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for all of your support and for signing up for the Yarn Stashio Journal. I appreciate it more than you will know. I could not have made this journey without each and everyone of you!
I have not wanted to bother you will all of my little defeats and victories these past few months in the area of web design. I am doing this all by myself and have had to learn so much to bring the site to where it is now. If I have learned one thing well, it is that it is impossible to predict how long it takes to do things. But I can predict with certainty that it will be much longer than I ever imagined. All that said, I am very pleased with how things have come together. I hope you enjoy spending time in Yarn Stashio as much as I do. Sometimes when I need a little peace, quiet and beauty, I find myself logging into Yarn Stashio and just enjoying the colors and getting lost in the design possibilities. Then I grab my knitting needles and dream up something new. May Yarn Stashio be an inspiration to you, too!
I still have many things left to add into the store but I want to get back to creating new colors in the next few days. I have felt the need to create for so long, so I sure something wonderful will be coming shortly.
I have had so many emails requesting that I get back to my roots. So, YES, the Signature Scarf kits are here to stay and YES, the Classic Hanks are back! The great news is that I have been able to maintain the prices for these products from over 3 years ago which explains why they are disappearing so fast!
For anyone a little tired of scarves and ready to make something really fun that does not have to FIT, please try the Yarn Stashio Evening Bag or the Everyday Tote. They are so fun and functional you will be glad you did. I have listed the Everyday Tote 100% silk purse tops separately if you want to use your own yarns. I will include my re-write of the Tilli Tomas pattern. You know me, I have to make it EASY and a guaranteed successful project. Toasted Coconut was listed late last week and sold out almost immediately. There is only one Toasted Coconut CLASSIC Hank left and then this color will be retired forever. Hi. The doors to the new web site are open, YARN STASHIO. Although there are so many more things I would like to add, and always will be I imagine. I would like to get one more Gallery Page done right away that would include all the wonderful new Tote, Evening Bag and Purses. In an effort to "get things right" one step at a time, the store is not fully stocked. I am planning on getting the remaining Designer Collections, the Exotic Wood and Swarovski Cut Crystal Shawl Pins as well as the newest Tote and Evening Bag Kits up by the end of the month before we begin home school fall 2006. Then back to creating new color ways, my absolute passion. My goal is to have a Designer Collection for most, if not all, of the Jane Thornley Designs. She does such and awesome job of coordinating colors and these kits are intended to make it easy to create her designs without all the work of collecting the yarns.
