Okay, that did not last long! The parent company, Greener Living Soap Nuts, loved my new website so much that they offered to purchase it along with the domain name; an offer I just could not refuse. But, the only thing that changes is where to purchase your soap nuts! Their new site will be informational only and will direct buyers to their resellers. I believe in this product so much that I decided to bring it into the Yarn Stashio Online Shop. Please note, this is not a multilevel marketing product. I am purchasing directly from the parent company and selling them for slightly less than they sell them for retail. I suspect I feel the same way most people do regarding this issue.

I would also like to announce that the new hand crafted and formulated exclusively for Yarn Stashio Soap Nut Body and Shampoo Bars are now available. If you love premium soaps, you will absolutely love these two bars. The first is a light scented lemon verbena body soap bar and the other is a barely scented shampoo bar that is so great it does not require any additional hair conditioners. Just lather and rinse and you are done! Both have all the healing benefits of soap nuts making them perfect for sensitive skin as well as for skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. They have a Greener Living Soap Nuts concentrated soap nut liquid base and the body bar is enhanced even more with freshly ground soap nut powder. There are several wonderful gift sets available that are wrapped and ready to go. It takes six weeks for these custom soap bars to be made and cured. This is not your ordinary bar of soap and yet it is priced less than most high end soap bars. So head on over to pamper yourself and your friends. You may find yourself actually wanting to get out of bed and head into the shower!

Last, the new Yarn Stashio Wool Wash Bar is ready as well. This bar is also hand crafted and unscented. It s perfect for all your woolen items and especially your precious hand knit things.

Thank you to all who purchased their Greener Living Soap Nuts already. Our plan is to continue to sell them here on Yarn Stashio. I will be adding several informational pages as soon as the dust settles and the web site transfer is complete. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email me anytime at yarnstashio@aol.com
God Bless,

Just a quick entry to let you know about a great new product called Greener Living Soap Nuts . If you are like me, you have got to be wondering what in heaven's name is a soap nut? Well, I have been using soap nuts for over a year now and I can not say enough good about this incredible "green" product that can be used for laundry and so much more! All the while costing less than your current cleaning products. If you have not heard of them, I completely understand. The Sapindus Mukorossi tree has been around forever, mainly in jungles of Nepal. In some parts of the world, this is all they have ever used for their cleaning needs. Thankfully, they have finally made their way to the US.

Well, I was recently given the opportunity to market them here in the US and I just could not say no. I have the new website up and running and would like to offer all of my friends at Yarn Stashio a 10% discount just by entering the discount code YARNSTASHIO during checkout. ($20 minimum purchase, please)

I am also working with a local family that makes the best soap bars I have ever tried. They will be making an exclusive body bath soap bar and a shampoo soap bar using Greener Living Soap Nuts. I can hardly wait. I am currently using the soap nut liquid as a body wash and shampoo but having both in a convenient soap bar will make it even better and much easier to use. At the same time I will be adding a wool wash bar that is awesome for washing all of your lovely hand knit treasures. I will let you know as soon as these become available.

Please take a moment to head over and check out Greener Living Soap Nuts . Don't forget take advantage of your Yarn Stashio discount when you do. I hope you learn to love soap nuts as much as I do.

God Bless,
Happy Valentine's Day! I know it has been a very long time since you have heard from me last. I thought about sharing the short story, but even that was too long to tell and most likely not a very good read. So, after much thought, I decided that I would just start right where I am now. But, like exercising, when you stop for a long time you can not start back up where you left off, unfortunately: I have tried that and it hurts! So will be the case with Yarn Stashio. More on this to come.

Back to the challenge, should you be brave enough to join me.

YARN STASHIO CHALLENGE #1:
Level of Expertise is VERY EASY

Dig into your stash of completed knit items to find your top favorite Yarn Stashio garment AND wear it at least once in the next 7 days: report back with comments!! Got more than one, wear them all (not all at the same time mind you). I did this recently and was shocked at how much I loved to wear some of the things I made and how timeless the colors turned out to be. I forgot how many compliments I used to get when I did! My favorite color ways include Mallard, Pink Poodle, Cappuccino and Tapestry. Which one is your favorite?

YARN STASHIO CHALLENGE #2:
Level of Expertise is EASY to INTERMEDIATE

Dig into your stash of UFOs (Un-Finished Objects) to find a yet to be knit or yet to be finished Yarn Stashio project AND start back up within the next 7 days. Stick with it until completed, wear it and report back with comments! I finished up a scarf, a capelet and am working to finish a totally amazing super large chevron shawl all of which will become Yarn Stashio kits in the future.

So, that is it. Time to fall in love again with Yarn Stashio! Please join me as we continue our venture into the wonderful exploration of color and texture knitting to rediscover our creative selves. It is time to spice it back up again, forget those all one color cable sweaters and the $30 pairs of socks. Let's have some fun again doing what we love: knitting with beautiful yarns to create one of a kind luxury items that will make us feel great when we wear them!

God Bless,
Kristine

Yarn Stashio

Well, it is that time of the year again. I am off to TNNA (The National Needlearts Association) Convention in Columbus the first weekend in June. I am so blessed to be able to attend! The conference is for only open to yarn shop owners and designers. I am able to attend because of my two designs for Plymouth Yarn Company that were published in Creative Knitting a while back giving me the necessary designer status.

This year I am going with a purpose: to gather together everything necessary to introduce my new line of easy to make, super fun purse kits that will be called ARM CANDY: limited edition work of art purse kits that can be knit, crocheted or a combination of both. There will only be 5-10 kits in each color way. I am hoping to make Signature Scarf Kits to match, if I can. And also to include a no-knit Love Me Knot Scarf Pattern with each purse kit that can be made from left over yarns after completing your ARM CANDY PURSE.

ARM CANDY PURSES will be various sizes: these two sizes (bigger ones to follow) will have a detachable handle allowing the purse to be a clutch, a hand bag or a shoulder bag! My daughter is working on some optional beaded handles as well allowing you to have basically four purses in one. Take the handle off or add the beaded handle to dress it up for a night on the town or add the more durable handle for everyday use. Slip off this handle anytime to turn it into a clutch in just a few seconds!

Each kit will be named after the part of the world from which I get its inspiration. The first four will be called: Serengeti, Fall in New England, Caribbean and Museum of Modern Art. The three larger purses shown measure 9" by 6" by 3 1/2" plus the handle. The smaller one measures 7 1/2" by 5" by 3" plus the handle.

OK, so here they are:

Each kit will contain about 30 different yarns, the purse form, purse handle, hand made dichoric glass button, magnetic fastener, lining material, extremely detailed pattern with lots of photos, special needle for sewing up the purse form, Love Me Knot Scarf Pattern and so much more: kit could contain ribbons, beads, dyed silk cocoon pods as well as other fun embellishments. Each color way kit will be unique in its use of special adornments to go with the theme of the color.

I would love to hear from you as to which color you would like to see introduced first. Detailed photos below for each color to help in your decision. Please email me with your vote, whichever color gets the most votes will be the first kit available. I do need to knit up one more color way to take detailed step by step photos for the final pattern.

I know these may look intimidating, but I assure they are NOT! You know me. I like to make these look impossible so you get all those rave reviews, but my engineering brain likes to simplify everything. These kits truly look incredible but they are so easy and so fun, you will have a hard time accepting all the compliments! Each purse takes about 2-3 nights to whip it up. Each will be totally unique but the resulting colors will look like the purses shown no matter how you knit or crochet your very own ARM CANDY.

So, cast your vote now. In order, Serengeti, Fall in New England, Caribbean and Museum of Modern Art.

I hope you are as excited about these new kits as I am. I have been working on them for quite some time and have become very addicted in the process. Now it is time to see if your fav is the same as mine! But then candy is candy and an assortment is always the best! Why have just one?

Hope to hear from you soon and I will do my best to get the kits up on the web site after my return from TNNA.

Happy Knitting Always,
God Bless,
Kristine
Yarn Stashio

Link to my AUCTIVA/Ebay storefront for sale items: Yarn Stashio Ebay Sale

Just a quick note to let you know that I am in the process of selling some of my most precious high end yarns and kits on Ebay: yarns like Prism Wild Stuff, Prism Cool Stuff, Prism Impressions, other yarns in the Prism line up as well yarns like Lorna's Laces Samplers, Tilli Tomas, Tilli Tomas Tote Kits, Fiesta La Boheme, K1C2, Great Adirondack Surprise and Louisa Harding, just to name a few. If you have been in the market for a good deal on some of the best yarns out there, now is your chance. Yarn Stashio Ebay Sale

I am doing this to make room in my Stashio to get ready for next fall on the web site. I have a lot of new yarns to post and new ideas for knitters like myself, who may have too many scarves but are never going to be sock or sweater knitters! If I see one more all one color cable sweater, I think I am going to scream, if you know what I mean. So stay tuned on that front.

Since all my listings are being hosted by auctiva.com, they have allowed me to create a web page that will have my Ebay listings currently running all in one place. Yarn Stashio Ebay Sale There will be some household items listed as well from time to time, but I will try to keep yarn items up at all times, as best I can. Here is that link again: Yarn Stashio Ebay Sale Please bookmark that page and check back often as the listings will change quickly. It is Ebay.

I know the Yarn Stashio Store is very low on inventory and I apologize for that. The holidays, as well as getting into the 2008 Pattern A Day Knitting Calendar for March 29th and 30th, has depleted my stock considerably. I have submitted several patterns for the 2009 calendar as well and will be hearing back soon as to which ones were accepted. The Yarn Stashio Simple Shrug is the free pattern for 2008.

Meanwhile, enjoy the Ebay deals and if you have some ideas as to what you would like to see for kits and projects in the fall, please drop me a line. I would love to hear from you!

God Bless,
Kristine Strange
Yarn Stashio
We have all heard of finding our "soul mate". I have always heard it in reference to marriage, haven't you? I never thought of it in terms of friends, or a girl friend, until I lost my dear friend Amy last December. I knew she was very important to me, but I had no idea just how much until she was gone. It took me months to even be able to pick up my knitting needles or play with new designs without thinking of her and what she meant to me. I was so much more of who I could be because of her and I miss her with all my heart.

I happened to watch the Bette Midler movie "Beaches" the other night and it just brought back all I felt for Amy and how much I truly miss her. There is a line in the movie where Ceci Bloom (Bette Midler) has been devastated by the loss of her friendship with Hillary (Barbara Hershey) when she shouts at her and says "You took away our friendship, the most important thing in my life, and didn't even discuss it with me!" That is how I feel. The loss has been so hard. Amy, wherever you are, you were the wind beneath my wings. I may never fly again as high as I did with you by my side. I miss you so much and always will. To Amy, With love.

Losing Amy, was the beginning of several losses, unfortunately. I lost my Aunt Lindy in April, the Aunt that I am most like, after she battled Parkinson's Disease for over 10 years. I have her to thank for bubble baths, candles, pretty packages with big bows and most of the "fluff" in my life. She is why each Yarn Stashio purchase is carefully wrapped to look like the gift that it should be. I will miss her very much.

Then, on May 29th, my father-in-law, Shelby went to be with the Lord. We have been caring for him extensively for the past six years, both in our home and at a nearby Memory Care Home. He fell fracturing his hip on Friday before Memorial Day. Although he made it through the surgery on Saturday, he never made it through mentally due to his severe dementia. He was laid to rest in Ann Arbor, MI next to his wife of nearly 60 years. This has been quite a blow to our family and especially my husband, an only child with no surviving parents. It is both a relief and a loss which only adds to the confusion of emotions.

I felt I needed to explain my absence these past few months. I am ready now to get back to the wonderful world of yarns and fibers. Immediately following the funeral, I was able to attend The National Needlearts Association (TNNA) yearly convention in early June with my MOM! We were like kids in a candy store, staying up late, knitting and chatting and just enjoying the mother/daughter time. It was very special. Of course, seeing all that yarn in one place sparked many wonderful ideas and directions for Yarn Stashio! Thank you for your support these past few months and be on the look out for lots of new things soon. Happy knitting always!

God Bless,
Kristine
Yarn Stashio
yarnstashio@aol.com

YARN STASHIO is instituting a new way to announce new designs as they are created. From now on, when a new design becomes available, it will be part of the "Free Pattern with Purpose Program." What this means is that for 2 weeks the new design pattern will be FREE with the purchase of enough yarn to complete that new design in any color way of your choice. The design will not be available for sale until the two weeks is up, at which point it will be sold as an individual pattern download and also added to the YARN STASHIO Pattern CD.

IN ADDITION, during that two week period, there will be a 10% discount on either the colorway used in that design, or a another designated colorway of our choosing.

So, to kick this program off, YARN STASHIO is announcing the newest scarf design called the Isosceles Scarf. It requires one Classic Hank (shown) or two Signature Scarf kits. It is a fun and addicting way to knit a scarf. It goes rather quickly, well under 5 hours, requires no picking up of stitches and only uses the knit stitch! OK, there are a couple of trick things you have to do, but the 5 page pattern spells out the instructions line by line and explains all uncommon terms in detail along with several photos.

To receive the discount on the Tapestry Classic Hank upon checkout , enter the promo code: Tapestry
or to received the discount on the Tapestry Signature Scarf kit , upon checkout , enter the promo code: Tapestry2

After 1/31/2007, the Isosceles Scarf pattern will be available separtely as a download for $5 , and will be added to the YARN STASHIO Pattern CD which sells for $30 (always Free with $150 purchase).

The Isosceles Scarf is 5" wide and 85-90" long with the fringe. The pattern explains a very fun and easy way to create the fringe as you go along so that each fringe is totally unique and you are sure to not run out of yarn before adding the fringe!!

Here are a couple photos of the new Isosceles Scarf in Tapestry.

I hope you like this new design as much as I do. I have four of these in various YARN STASHIO color ways and I wear them all the time.

Happy knitting always,
God Bless
Kristine/YARN STASHIO
yarnstashio@aol.com

Due to the overwhelming response on the Designer Collection sale, there are only two sets remaining, both in Purple Mist. So, please do not delay if you have had this set in your sights.

Wondering what you might do with all that purple? I just had to share a photo of two versions of the Runway Scarf Pattern which was a collaboration of a YARN STASHIO customer and friend (who wishes to remain anonymous) and myself. She knit the one on the left in the Rustic colorway (recently retired) and I knit the other in the Purple Mist colorway. Both scarves are pure luxury and decadence at nearly 10" wide and over 100" long! The Purple Mist Designer Collection is enough yarn to make this scarf as well as have plenty left over for another fun project! The new Tapestry colorway would make an awesome Runway Scarf and look a lot like the one in Rustic. The Runway Scarf requires two YARN STASHIO Classic Hanks as well as several additional ribbons and yarns. More details later. The models below are Thea Doss (left) and Kaylyn Strange (my daughter, right), both age 11.

Here is a close up of the Runway Scarf in Purple Mist.

Happy knitting always,
God Bless
Kristine at YARN STASHIO
yanrstashio@aol.com

I just could not resist knitting up a Tapestry Signature Scarf. It just seemed like the perfect combination for a cute little denim jacket and I was right. I saved just enough yarn from the scarf kit to make some really cute embellishments to a $3 pair of gloves I picked up at Target on sale! My notes for knitting the glove cuffs can be found below.

The Signature Scarf looks so different than the Tapestry Wrap does since that was done in double moss stitch and the scarf is in super quick and easy garter stitch.

Here are two close up photos to show off the many colors and textures in this colorway. As you may recall, this Signature Scarf yarn is very unique as there are color segment repeats in the whole scarf!

A close up at the neckline:

And now, a close up of the adorable gloves to match:

All I did was cast on 20 stitches on a US 13 needle. Rows 1-4: *(K2, P2), repeat from * to the end of the row. On the next row, bind off in pattern (K2,P2). Cut leaving about a 10" tail. Thread a tapestry needle and using a mattress stitch sew up the little seam. When you get to the end, you will have the cast on tail and the bind off tail near each other, tie together with an overhand knot. Lay the cuff over the top of the glove and, using a regular sewing needle and thread, very loosely tack the cuff to the glove. I used a running stitch just under the bind off row and it does not show at all. Make sure to keep stretching the glove to make sure that it will still be able to be put on after attaching the cuff. Your glove may vary a little in width, just adjust the number of stitches accordingly.

The Ring Rosette was so fun and quick, I just had to do it. I cast on 4 stitches. Knit into the back and the front of each stitch for two rows. You should now have 16 stitches. Bind off and wrap it into a rosette. Carefully attach it with a sewing needle and thread to the ring finger. You can leave the little streamer, or cut it off if you prefer.

Voila! A few yards of leftover Yarn Stashio Yarn and few minutes creates a totally unique designer scarf and glove set! Since Signature Scarves are perfect for both winter wear and fashion wear, having a matching set of gloves just makes good sense and why bother knitting the gloves when you can get a great pair of gloves on sale this time of the year! Load up in tons of colors, so you have just the right pair for your next Yarn Stashio colorway!

Oh, by the way, I just got two great pairs of cabled gloves at J. Jill that retailed for $29 for only $7.99! There is even a cabled hat for only $4.99 that you could add a Yarn Stashio cuff to as well. If you are anything like me, knitting a pair of gloves or a hat would not be your project of choice. I put gloves right up there with knitting socks, if you know what I mean. I understand the concept but am not all that interested in actually doing it.

Please send photos of your embellished ready made items. I would love to share them with other knitters as well!
Happy New Year and May God Bless you abundantly in 2007!
Kristine at Yarn Stashio
yarnstashio@aol.com

Really now, we all know there is no such thing as free shipping, right? The shipping fees either display upon checkout or are hidden into the product pricing and do not show during checkout. I know, I know, it "feels" good to think we are not paying for shipping, but this is very real cost to a small enterprise like Yarn Stashio.

Yarn Stashio will never charge a handling fee or inflate shipping charges to cover our time, packing materials or trips to the post office. We consider this a cost of doing business. We do everything we can to keep shipping costs down to a minimum while ensuring safe and timely delivery.

We have considered raising prices to allow us to "offer free shipping" but in the end, it would result in a higher net cost to you as we raised each price for its' share of the shipping cost because there is no way to do it this way and allow for reduced shipping when combining items.

We have decided to go with a flat fee based on weight with a maximum of $10 within the United States ($15 maximum to Canada or Western Europe). Pattern downloads are free, of course.

The shipping table is as follows for the United States:

.5lb $3
1lb $4
2lb $5
3lb $7.50
4lb $8.50
5lb and over $10.00

The shipping table is as follows for Canada and Western Europe:

.5lb $5
1lb $8
2lb $10.00
3lb $12.00
4lb $13.50
5lb and over $15.00

If for any reason at all, shipping charges do not seem to be right when you check out, please let me know. I can not begin to tell you how hard this is to make sure that the "system" does what I think it ought to be doing!

Thank you so much for your support in 2006!
Happy New Year!!
God Bless, Kristine at Yarn Stashio
yarnstashio@aol.com

Ok, so what good is free shipping if there is nothing to buy? So many things have sold out in the past few days, that I just had to create a new colorway right away. (I will do my best to get two more in the store by the end of the year.)

This one has been in the works for a while. It is the most unique YARN STASHIO colorway ever. There were over 50 unique color segments created. In fact, the Signature Scarf Yarn has no repeats, except for a few of the hanks that have the same color segment yarn at both ends. The Classic Hanks have virtually no repeats either. Tapestry includes shades of burgandy, purple, moss green, caramel, aqua blues, deep sunfower gold, deep rust, sky blue and many more. with a hint of metallic sparkle and eyelash accents. There are so many different colors that there are very few repeated color segments in the entire hank making it an exceptional colorway. It knits well with a US 13-15 needle and 3 sts to the inch.

When knit, it creates a wonderful TAPESTRY fabric, hence the name. Here is a close up using a double moss/seed stitch pattern which melds the colors beautifully, don't you think?

Below is the newest shawl design knit with TAPESTRY, embellished with a wonderful feather boa and Swarovski cut crystal brooch for the closure. It has a slight amount of shaping that makes it lay wonderfully over your shoulders. I just could not resist the feather boa. I had a tough time choosing between french blue, navy blue, cranberry or pumpkin. They were all exquisite, but I went with the pumpkin. TAPESTRY also goes really well with the Tilli Tomas Tote in Wine, Deep Red, Sunflower, Tangerine or Lilac. The pattern will be available shortly in the store. It takes two hanks of Classic or four hanks of Signature yarn. This shawl was knit with Signature yarn because I wanted the effect achieved with the consistent, short color segments that are in the Signature yarn. It may look just a little different with the Classic yarn but equally beautiful, and slightly less expensive.

I have also listed additional colors that just arrived of the Tilli Tomas Grommet Tote. If you need any assistance in choosing a color for your project, please email me at yarnstashio@aol.com.

Well, back to the Stashio to work up another color .....
Merry Christmas and may we all remember the reason for the season this year,
Kristine, Yarn Stashio
yarnstashio@aol.com

I just had to do it. A few years back I did it set called Black Hills Gold. It was such a huge success for the Holidays, I just had to try it again. It is even more beautiful than the first one, I think because of the new yarns in the Stahsio. Black Hills Gold was designed to perfectly coordinate with the Bronze and the Black Tilli Tomas Tote bag, but it would also make a great holiday scarf or wrap. See all the new patterns that have been listed as well as the Pattern CD. There are a couple of patterns on the CD that have not been listed separately, but they will be shortly. If you see one you need, let me know and I will list it right away. So here it is, DIY Stashio in Black Hills Gold:

God Bless and Happy Knitting Always,
Kristine at Yarn Stashio

The Deep Red Tilli Tomas Totes are sold out until after January 2007! But, I was able to get the last ones available at Tilli Tomas yesterday to coordinate with the Vogue Red DIY Stashio Yarn set. We created 6 new DIY Stashio sets in Vogue Red, and there are 5 Deep Red Tilli Tomas Totes and 3 Black Tilli Tomas Totes remaining. The Vogue Red DIY Stashio goes great with both of these colors.

This will be the last chance to duplicate the Vogue Knitting Tilli Tomas Tote at this great introductory price of $100 before the Christmas. Plus, the Yarn Stashio Tote pattern is included with each Tote. After knitting so many of these, we believe that we have significantly improved on the original pattern. If you notice the picture in Vogue, the knit portion is smaller at the bottom than at the top, the opposite of what one would want in a Tote. With the Yarn Stashio pattern, DIY Stashio Yarns or any Yarn Stashio gauge 10-11 yarn, your Tote will be shaped like this, and it will be much easier to knit as well! We do not like doing things the hard way at Yarn Stashio. Life is short and there is too many fun yarns to do things the hard way.

Well, back to the Stashio to create some new DIY Stashio colors!

God Bless and Happy Knitting Always,
Kristine at Yarn Stashio

A couple of days ago, I had a special request to re-create the awesome Tilli Tomas Tote shown in the most recent issue of Vogue Knitting, Holiday 2006 on page 9. I went foraging through the Stashio for yarns in deep red, silver, gray, charcoal and black. The result: a new product is born, DIY Stashio Yarns. This is a perfectly coordinated, cost effective, ready to knit set of yarns that are great for the Tilli Tomas 100% Silk Tote top, the Evening Bag or any small project of your choosing. There are 150 yards that could easily be hand tied to create just a little less than one Classic Hank or a little less than two Signature Hanks all for an Introductory Price of just $44! Why $44? So that when added to a Tilli Tomas Tote top this awesome tote can be made for $100 which makes this irresistable! There are only 3 sets in this initial Vogue Red offering. The reds are perfectly matched to the Deep Red Tote Top and also goes really well with the Black Tote Top. Please stop by, take a look and PLEASE let me know what you think about the new DIY Stashio concept!

Here they are in Vogue Red along with a knit sample:

God Bless and Happy Knitting Always,
Kristine at Yarn Stashio

Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for all of your support and for signing up for the Yarn Stashio Journal. I appreciate it more than you will know. I could not have made this journey without each and everyone of you!

I have not wanted to bother you will all of my little defeats and victories these past few months in the area of web design. I am doing this all by myself and have had to learn so much to bring the site to where it is now. If I have learned one thing well, it is that it is impossible to predict how long it takes to do things. But I can predict with certainty that it will be much longer than I ever imagined. All that said, I am very pleased with how things have come together. I hope you enjoy spending time in Yarn Stashio as much as I do. Sometimes when I need a little peace, quiet and beauty, I find myself logging into Yarn Stashio and just enjoying the colors and getting lost in the design possibilities. Then I grab my knitting needles and dream up something new. May Yarn Stashio be an inspiration to you, too!

I still have many things left to add into the store but I want to get back to creating new colors in the next few days. I have felt the need to create for so long, so I sure something wonderful will be coming shortly.

I have had so many emails requesting that I get back to my roots. So, YES, the Signature Scarf kits are here to stay and YES, the Classic Hanks are back! The great news is that I have been able to maintain the prices for these products from over 3 years ago which explains why they are disappearing so fast!

For anyone a little tired of scarves and ready to make something really fun that does not have to FIT, please try the Yarn Stashio Evening Bag or the Everyday Tote. They are so fun and functional you will be glad you did. I have listed the Everyday Tote 100% silk purse tops separately if you want to use your own yarns. I will include my re-write of the Tilli Tomas pattern. You know me, I have to make it EASY and a guaranteed successful project. I have made 4 Totes and 3 Evening Bags now and I think you will be pleased with my version of the pattern for this project.

Toasted Coconut was listed late last week and sold out almost immediately. There is only one Toasted Coconut CLASSIC Hank left and then this color will be retired forever. There is enough yarn in the Classic Hank to make the Everyday Tote. The Chocolate Brown silk purse is available separately in the store.

I have added Yarn Stashio Gift Certificates for your Christmas Wish List (hint, hint), Colorway Notecards, exotic wood shawl pins, US 50 needles, the Pattern CD and several individual patterns (the rest are coming shortly), Signature Scarf Kits, Classic Hanks and Designer Collections as well.

I have been collaborating with a Yarn Stashio fan on a new pattern that will called "The Runway Scarf". It will be the most awesome scarf you have ever imagined .... details to follow soon. It will be a FREE pattern, too!

If you have made it this far, I hope you get a chance to visit the store soon and see some things you just can not live without! Meanwhile, look for several new colors really soon and some awesome new exotic wood Shawl Stick pins that I had custom made for Yarn Stashio! God Bless you all, Happy Knitting Always, Kristine
